Care And Maintenance
Using correct care products are essential to preserve the natural beauty of stone.

Remember, granite is a hard, relatively non-porous stone, that is unaffected by most chemicals. By contrast, marbles and limestones are soft, easy to scratch, more susceptible to staining, and are affected by acidic substances.
Do's and Don'ts
  • Do clean your granite benchtop surface with mild detergent or soap and water. If necessary use synthetic scrubbing pads.
  • Do thoroughly rinse and dry the surface after cleaning.
  • Do blot up spills immediately.

  • Don't use vinegar, lemon juice or other cleaners containing acids on marble, limestone, travertine or onyx surfaces.
  • Don't use cleaners that contain acid such as bathroom cleaners, grout cleaners or tub & tile cleaners.
  • Don't use abrasive cleaners such as dry cleansers or soft cleansers.
  • Don't clean your benchtop with any harsh, caustic chemicals.
  • Don't mix bleach and ammonia; this combination creates a toxic and lethal gas.
