Someone of authority must be at the job site at time of measure to review and approve the templates.
At the time of template all cabinets must be installed in their final position. We will not template if cabinets are missing or unsecured.
All items relating to the benchtop are to be available at the time of template.
This includes sinks, taps, hobb details, soap dispensers, etc...
Not having all items at time of field measure will result in a delay in fabrication.
Old benchtops are to be removed prior to template so that we can verify the structural
integrity of the cabinets and ensure accurate measurements.
We will not template over old benchtops.
Dishwashers must not be attached directly to the benchtop as this may result
in fracture of the stone.
Always use nutria-cure sealant against stone.
Incorrect sealant may stain or leave rings around fixtures to the benchtop.
Undermount and Rebate Undermount sinks are fixed directly to the stone.
The fixatives should be allowed to set for a minimum of 24 hours before attaching
plumbing to the sink.
Topmount sinks often have clamps that do not reach the thickness of the stone.
It is not always necessary to use these clamps. Attaching the sink to the stone
with silicone-based sealant should be sufficient. However, you could consider
purchasing longer screws for the clamps.
